Tokyo Art Beat is pleased to announce a yang02’s workshop “Collage of Perception (and Meaning)” in
collaboration with Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo exhibition "Medley" by Bertrand Lavier.
Yang02, a well-known artist who has interpreted Bertrand Lavier’s works, will
be the guide for this event, which will provide an opportunity for toddlers and
adults to work together on creating artworks using everyday objects.

The program will start with a tour of the exhibition "Medley" by French artist Bertrand Lavier. Participants will explore Lavier's methods, which include humorous elements such as readymade art and appropriation.
Next, they will listen to a lecture on Lavier's work and art history and then continue to the crafting workshop. Using readymade products, participants will engage their “perception” and craft a sensory board for toddlers. After the work is complete, they will be given feedback by the guide.

This is not only a fun workshop to enjoy with toddlers, but also a unique opportunity to share the inspiration gained from the exhibition and create your own artwork. Choose materials and craft together with your baby, or feel free to explore your potential to create real artwork!
Please note that the workshop is open to all ages, but applicants with toddlers will be prioritized.
